I scrutinized the records of the parish of Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, from 1790 approximate year, that Fran\u00e7ois Terrien and Josephte Duclos and his brother Jacques and Amable Bazinet left Terrebonne and headed towards Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From 1841 to 1844, a new priest named J. Lagorce arrived in the parish. On October 4th, Judith Terrien presents for her marriage to Fran\u00e7ois Gaudreau. Judith is the daughter of Fran\u00e7ois Terrien and Judith Archambault, granddaughter of Jacques Terrien and Amable Bazinet and great granddaughter and Fran\u00e7ois Terrien and Marie-Anne Charbonneau. It is this priest who, for the first time, in Sainte- Anne-des-Plaines, has registered the name of Judith Th\u00e9rien.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Marriage Act states in section<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">M. (Marriage) Fran\u00e7ois Gaudreau and Judith Terrien<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following is the content of the Act of marriage:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Le quatre octobre mil huit cent quarante et un, apr\u00e8s la publication d&#8217;un seul ban de mariage faite au pr\u00f4ne de la messe paroissiale entre Fran\u00e7ois Gaudreau veuf majeur de Madeleine Coupal de la paroisse de Montr\u00e9al d&#8217;une part, et <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Judith Th\u00e9rien<\/span><\/strong> fille majeure de <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Fran\u00e7ois Th\u00e9rien<\/span><\/strong> et Judith Archambeau, de cette paroisse d&#8217;autre part, ne s&#8217;\u00e9tant d\u00e9couvert aucun emp\u00eachement ni opposition apr\u00e8s semblable publication faite \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, o\u00f9 la dispense des deux autres bans accord\u00e9e par Messire Ouiblier vicaire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, nous cur\u00e9 soussign\u00e9 avons re\u00e7u leur mutuel consentement de mariage, et leur avons donn\u00e9 la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction nuptiale en pr\u00e9sence de Joseph Charbonneau, de Charles Dorais, amis de l&#8217;\u00e9poux et Fran\u00e7ois Th\u00e9rien, p\u00e8re de l&#8217;\u00e9pouse, qui, ainsi que les \u00e9poux, n&#8217;ont su signer<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"right\">J. Lagorce, ptre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the presence of the priest Lagorce in Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines (1841 \u00e0 1844), all acts involving a Terrien have been registered as Th\u00e9rien.
