Dear members,
We are sorry to have to inform our members and their families that the Therrien Association Board has made the decision to postpone our annual reunion scheduled for August 12-14 this year and reschedule it for next year. The recent new wave of COVID infections in Quebec as well as much of Canada has caused many events to be cancelled and we feel that it would be much better and safer to wait until next year with our event as well. In addition, much of our schedule was dependent on having at least 50 people attending our reunion and we can no longer count on this number to have the many activities we scheduled for this year.
Fortunately, we will be able to still have our annual reunion in Drummondville at the same hotel with the same great venue of activities for our members next year, August 25-27, 2023. We will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of our association in the same location as the first annual reunion in 1983. Our reunion committee worked very hard to get all the activities scheduled for this year to be available next year.
Thank you for your understanding and patience in this matter. For those that made reservations at the hotel, the reservations for this year have already been cancelled for our group. For those that have provided checks to attend the events this year, we will return your checks in the mail.
We look forward to seeing everyone again and renew our family bonds and friendships next year at our 40th anniversary reunion!
